Publishing wasn’t always easy for me either. I started as a struggling single mom working part-time as an editorial assistant. No degree, no connections, and definitely no roadmap. I took the long road. I learned a lot the hard way.
But I kept showing up, and along the way I discovered something important: the authors who succeed aren’t necessarily the ones who work the hardest. They’re the ones who have the right support and the right mindset.
Now, after almost 30 years as a professional editor, former literary agent, podcast host, and working author, I’ve helped hundreds of authors get their books into the world — including New York Times and ECPA bestsellers.
